A Historic Evening of Theatre & Tribute to Lohua Purush- Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

It was an honour and a truly memorable occasion as the National School of Drama presented its grand production “Louha Purush : Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel” in the august presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, along with esteemed dignitaries including Shri Pankaj Joshi, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Gujarat; Shri Govind Mohan,Home Secretary,Government of India, Shri Vivek Aggarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India; and Shri Udit Agarwal, CEO, Statue of Unity Authority.

The spectacular performance marked the Ekta Diwas celebrations, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

With the participation of 200+ artists and technicians, the production was a magnificent celebration of art, culture, and patriotism — staged at Ekta Nagar, Kevadia, Gujarat.

The play, beautifully directed, designed and composed by Shri Chittaranjan Tripathy,Director,NSD and written by Shri Asif Ali , enriched with insightful research by Dr. Rizwan Kadri, the production powerfully showcased the inspiring life and unmatched contribution of Sardar Patel — the Iron Man of India, whose role in unifying our nation remains eternal.
