Sh Riken Ngomle (Assistant Professor & T.I.E Chief )

Martial Artist, Actor and Theatre/Film Director, Shri Riken Ngomle pursued advance training in acting at studio Matejka, Grotowsky Institute, Poland after graduating in Acting from National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi. Later, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Theatre Arts, Central University of Hyderabad.

He has directed several plays based on the folk-tales and folk-lores to preserve and document the dying oral tradition of tribes at Arunachal.

In 2022 he started a theatre-revolution in Arunachal Pradesh with his play ‘Arunachal: Ek Safarnama’.

In 2023 he has started a Theatre Festival ‘Arunachal Rang Mahotsav’ with the support of Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Currently, Shri Riken is working as an Assistant Professor in Acting at NSD with additional he is heading Theatre-In-Education Company (T.I.E. Co.) as Chief of T.I.E at NSD.
