The second day of #WAVESSUMMIT2025 saw a lively breakout discussion session on the way ahead for Theatre considering the fast changing world of entertainment driven by technology. A panel of powerhouse talent of @nsd_india alumni @Nawazuddin_S and Sawanand Kirkire joined by their batchmate Dr Chittaranjan Tripathy, the current director of NSD and senior Mita Vashisth stressed on the continued relevance of folk and traditional theatre, the impact it has had on their own craft as well as making Theatre a movement for all sections of society. Smt. Amita Prasad Sarbhai, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Culture shared about Natyashastra being inscribed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register and the various measures being taken by the Government to strengthen and support NSD. #CultureUnitesAll
