A Spectacular Start to the Summer Theatre Festival!

The National School of Drama Repertory Company commenced its much-awaited Summer Theatre Festival at the iconic Kalidasa Auditorium, NZCC Patiala, as part of the vibrant Rang Shashthi celebration.

The festival opened with the moving play Mai Ri Main Ka Se Kahun, adapted from Vijaydan Detha’s poignant tale and directed by Ajay Kumar. The production captivated the audience with its soulful music, seamless performances, and a thought-provoking portrayal of women’s moral dilemmas.

The evening began on a graceful note with the ceremonial lamp lighting by Padma Shri Pran Sabarwal, NZCC Director Fuqran Khan, Shri Avtar Sahni,NSD Society Member, NSD Repertory Chief Rajesh Singh, and other esteemed theatre personalities.
