SYNOPSIS
An open space lies in between two villages which is very suitable as a playground. In one village , Bidisha and her friends have a group who remain busy in playing and doing Bhaona. Poppy and Bidisha are eldest in this group. So, all the others obey them. Pon and Badan, both belong to poor families are very naughty in their deeds. Gulti. But Ricky belongs to a well to do family. He loves to play Video games. But his sister Jimli does not know how to play Video games so she plays other games. Bandan sometimes quarrels with the others. Bidisha and Popy both teaches them the National Anthem as Independence day is very close. Though they can sing the National Anthem but Pokhili and others refuse to go to Independence day celebration. They think that some miscreants may again place bombs. Pon and Pokhili are brother and sister. They sometimes demonstrates, how their drunken father tortures their mother. Once they enjoy a Ankiya Bhaona in a nearby village. After few days they decide to perform a Bhaona 'Drupadir Bastra Haran'. As Ricky does not have weapons like the others, he brings the his fathers original pistol. Everyone tries to snatch the pistol to see and at that moment a bullet fires from the pistol and hits a bird.Ricky becomes scared. The bird dies. After this incident, all swear that they will never touch a pistol and if necessary they would purchase books or playing items in Puja or other festivals.
