We invite proposals for participation in the National School of Drama's 11th Bharat Rang Mahotsav which will be held in New Delhi from 8th January to 19th January 2009.

The festival will feature work by directors, theatre groups and drama institutions from India and abroad and will showcase outstanding productions that have been performed for the public.

Proposals are invited from groups that have been active in the theatre for a minimum of three years. The deadline for accepting entries has been extended till 10th September 08. Applications need to be completed on the prescribed form and accompanied by a good recording of the production in VCD/DVD/VHS format. A detailed synopsis and a scene-wise summary in English or Hindi would be required.

Only one production will be accepted from each theatre group in any language. The selection of plays for the festival will be done by a committee of theatre experts and their decision will be final and binding.
